Aim to increase fish consumption with a new campaign

Icelandic Food and Biotech R&D institute, Matís, is launching a campaign to increase consumer awareness for the importance of fish consumption.

The aim of the campaign is to increase consumption of fish and fish products as fish oils.The campaign consist of TV shows and commercials and production of informative material for schools encouraging consumers to consume fish and fish products at least twice a week.

Thirteen years after first launching a web site has now come out with the 3th generation the company’s web site. The new web site is aimed at improving services to customers. The services are designed for the small and medium size food businesses, creating a direct access to quality fish products from the cool Icelandic waters. Fresh and frozen seafood is on offer. Fresh products are shipped with air transport and frozen products are transported by sea transport.
